Part 2: Pros and Cons of Carissa

The show opens with Dale discussing a new technology called AudioBurst that will record and transcribe all radio shows, making them searchable by word — he fears this will end personality radio. The bulk of the segment is spent doing ‘pros and cons of dating Carissa,’ listing her positive qualities (funny, charming, compassionate, easy-going) against a long list of negatives (hypochondria, messy, needy, poor hygiene, weird sleeping habits where her legs go up in the air at night). Carissa adds to her own cons list, admitting she can’t cook, can’t change a tire, breaks everything she owns, and doesn’t always wash her hands. The hosts also argue about expensive audio cables, discuss a Mother’s Day brawl at Red Lobster, and promote their upcoming cruise.
