Part 2: Spring Break Done Wrong
This part mixes 25th anniversary clips from Dudley and Bob’s early FM94 era with Dale’s extended, frustrating story about a recent failed vacation at the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort in San Antonio. After stir-crazy isolation at home, Dale and his wife attempted a getaway with the kids, encountering a dirty rag in the room, ignored service at Spring House Cafe, a reservation-only policy at the empty Antlers restaurant, and a peanut-filled bar they couldn’t enter due to their son’s allergy. The trip ended early with an angry drive home. The segment also includes the Super Buzzword bit from 25 years ago and wraps with Animal Cavalcade videos.

- Charlie Long’s Bar and Peanut Allergy Crisis [00:38:00] — The family goes to Charlie Long’s bar, only to discover staff are throwing peanut shells all over the floor. Dale’s son Jacob has a severe peanut allergy. They immediately leave. The manager then suggests they order room service and eat in their room.
- Amanda Snaps and They Leave [00:41:00] — When the manager suggests eating room service in their room ‘with the rag,’ Dale’s wife Amanda reaches her limit. She packs everything and they drive home that night, arriving at 10pm. Dale’s son is devastated about missing Six Flags. Dale never got his free media tickets.
- Post-Vacation Analysis [00:43:00] — The crew discusses whether Dale was justified in his anger. Matt and Bob mostly side with Dale, agreeing the service failures were egregious. Dale reveals he later called Antlers and they suddenly had reservations available, proving they could have seated him earlier.
